Chiropractic Medicine

Chiropractic is a complementary and alternative medicine technique that focuses on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system and their effects on the nervous system and general health. It emphasizes manual therapy including spinal manipulation and other joint and soft-tissue manipulation, and includes exercises and health and lifestyle counseling. Traditionally, it assumes that a vertebral subluxation or spinal joint dysfunction can interfere with the body's function and its innate ability to heal itself.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is A technique of inserting and manipulating fine filiform needles into specific points on the body with the aim of relieving pain and for therapeutic purposes.According to acupuncture theory, these acupuncture points lie along meridians along which qi, a kind of vital energy, is said to flow. There is no generally-accepted anatomical or histological basis for these concepts, and modern acupuncturists tend to view them in functional rather than structural terms, (viz. as a useful metaphor in guiding evaluation and care of patients).

Acupuncture is thought to have originated in China and is most commonly associated with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Different types of acupuncture are practiced and taught throughout the world.

Applied Kinesiology

Kinesiology is the study of muscles and how they move. It encompasses the principle that muscles give biofeedback regarding the state of organs, glands, lymph, circulatory and energy systems, virtually all systems in the body. Kinesiology employs a non-invasive technique called muscle monitoring, which assesses information about energy balance of the body by communicating directly with the central nervous systems through the sensory-motor response of a muscle. As the negative memory is revealed it can be reframed and integrated. This holistic approach promotes healing and can create lasting changes to your energetic and physical well-being.

Kinesiologists work with all aspects of the human being: physical, emotional, spiritual, mental and energetic bringing the body/mind into balance and harmony. In today's tension-filled world, kinesiology offers the bright hope of releasing stresses and restoring balance, allowing health and vitality to return. Find your balance and embrace your life.

Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on energy work that treats the whole person (body, emotions, mind and spirit). The two Japanese words “Rei” & “Ki” translate to "spiritually guided life force energy.” The flow of this energy comes from a limitless source (God Force) to the patient through the Reiki practitioner. Reiki healing is a pure and specific energy form. It can be safely used in conjunction with other medical treatments to help reduce any of their adverse side-effects and to augment the desired healing. When the patient is sincerely desiring and willing to experience cleansing on all levels of consciousness, a total healing can occur.
